What is Direct Primary Care(DPC)?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is direct to consumer medical care, where patients pay a monthly membership fee to a medical practice for their primary care needs. There are no insurance bills, insurance co-pays, or deductibles. All routine and acute care visits are covered in the membership. The benefit to DPC is more personalized and accessible care, less out of pocket cost for you, and fewer constraints from commercial insurers.

After over 6 years of experience as a RN in emergency care and med-surg I wanted to promote health and wellness on my own terms and my own time. So I chose to further my education as nurse and gained my Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Family Care in October of 2023.
Preventative care is so important and what better way to do that than through vitamin therapy to heal the body and improve health. The Role of Testosterone in Health
Testosterone plays many important roles in the body beyond sexual health—it also supports brain function and helps protect against numerous health conditions.
Studies show that healthy testosterone levels can significantly reduce disease risk. For example, men with low testosterone are three times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s dementia, and women face similar risks. Research has found that men over 55 with higher testosterone levels have a reduced risk of coronary artery disease and heart attacks. Testosterone also helps preserve bone mass, increasing density by about 8.3% per year, which helps prevent and reverse osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Both men and women can experience a midsection “pouch” as they age, often caused by low testosterone. When testosterone is low, cortisol and insulin levels rise, leading to increased belly fat and a greater risk of type 2 diabetes. Restoring healthy testosterone levels can help lower these risks, improve body composition, and enhance metabolic health.
For women, testosterone has additional protective effects, including a reduced risk of breast cancer. Breast tissue contains both estrogen and insulin receptors, and natural testosterone has been shown to decrease estrogen receptor activity in the breasts and lower insulin levels.
