A full body scan uses state-of-the-art imaging technology to take a look inside of your body to identify and diagnose possible cancer as well as many other diseases sooner than later. When caught in the early stages, your chances of survival dramatically improve. Scans can identify life-threatening abnormalities months or even years before symptoms even present themselves. Full body scans include a comprehensive coronary artery scan, a chest scan, and a scan of the abdomen and pelvis. A body scan can see kidney stones, cysts, aortic aneurysms, calcium deposits within plaque in the coronary arteries, enlarged lymph nodes, nodules, large masses, an enlarged spleen, and a fatty liver in the abdomen region.
